20 Best Hotels in Santa Cruz, Galapagos
João Petersen · Last updated September 2, 2026

Santa Cruz is the second largest island in the Galapagos and the one with the most tourist infrastructure, with most hotels in the town of Puerto Ayora. This list has 20 hotels, plus two all-inclusive lodges in the highlands. I picked them by location, what each property offers and guest ratings, rather than from stays of my own.
The list is split into luxury resorts, comfort hotels, standard hotels and budget hotels, with a price comparison for two people in US dollars. Prices change with the season, so check current rates before you book.
The quick picks come first, then where to stay, the all-inclusive lodges, the price comparison and the full list.
