Italy needs no introduction, but its north holds the Dolomites, a mountain range of pale limestone peaks. In the summer of 2024, on a month-long trip around Greece and Italy, I hiked the Tre Cime di Lavaredo in one day and slept in a mountain chalet. That hike is the guide so far.
